Gear indicator on a ZXR750?
Gear indicator on a ZXR750?
I'm looking for a gear indicator for a 93 ZXR750 but am having difficulty as most companies only supply for much more modern bikes!
It's for my track bike as I have a habit of going down too many gears when I forget where I already am in the box and since this is a new bike to me I'll need all the help I can get!
Cheers

Here's one Jim. I can't say that I have used it on my track bikes but it seems easy enough to install.

I ran one of the universal ones on the Mutant and it was far too slow to be useful - by the time it worked out what gear you were in you well and truly knew already
Count 'em down Jim.

i hardly ever look down at the dash, so one would be no good for me, ridin my mates, who has one, and still just do what ive allways done, if it feels like the right gear, it prob isdave#3 wrote:I ran one of the universal ones on the Mutant and it was far too slow to be useful - by the time it worked out what gear you were in you well and truly knew alreadyCount 'em down Jim.

Actually, they apparently do. I never "activated" mine but it's apparently do-able.JimZXR wrote:Does the ZXR have a slipper clutch?

It's one of my favourite sites too, it certainly helped me set up my bikes with a slipper clutch and a few ideas for other mods.
