Why flip the eccentric chain adjuster on a ZRX??
I luurrve the smell of 2stroke in the mornin'.

Raises the rear ride height making it quite a bit flippier. Some say good idea, some say bad. I haven't bothered because I've got the height adjustable Gazi's and I've heard it can make the chain touch the bottom of the swingarm.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

It does, as Glen said, make it more nimble, but yes it does allow the chain to touch the swingarm in certain circumstances. If you have shocks with ride height there is not any need to flip them, just make your shock longer.

They steer better with them flipped, but as Phil said, it can cause the chain to touch the bottom of the swing arm if it's adjusted a bit loose. I have longer shocks and flipped eccentrics, but I already have a mark in the swingarm where the chain has hit, so I have nothing to lose by leaving them flipped.Stuzrx wrote:Why flip the eccentric chain adjuster on a ZRX??
