Auto/Bike Apprenticeships - Sydney

Post by valkau »

I saw that Trivett are offering apprentices in 3 areas of motor trade including motorcycles if you know any youngsters looking to get into this type of paid training? I think they're Harley dealers (sorry) but they also have some neat motor agencies like Aston Martin. Ad is copied below:

Do you know someone who's not afraid to get their hands dirty, jack up an engine or put their head under the hood? Then tell them to get their toolbox ready to start a career with Trivett, Australia's Largest Prestige Automotive Group.

Apprenticeships - Commencing January 2013 covering:
• Automotive Mechanical Technology (Specialising in Light Vehicle) Certificate III
• Automotive Mechanical Technology (Specialising in Motorcycle) Certificate III
• Automotive Sales (Specialising in Parts Interpreting) Certificate III

For more information and to apply online, visit:
http://www.trivett.com.au/apprenticeships

Applications close Sunday 16th September 2012.

my advice if you are going to do an apprenticeship is stick it thru till the end... have something to fall back on in case of the worst!

Thats the plan lol, i need it anyway because i moved overseas to france before i had the chance to do my year 10, and unfortunately these days they require that or a year 12, and as i have neither this apprenticeship would be great not only for the skills but also better oppurtuneties after it is complete 8)

Hey guys, I have no axe to grind for Trivett but love to see and hear about kids working to better themselves. Many of us weren't very good students at school (me slow developer) but once we get something useful to do that interests us, it's amazing how the brain cells start to kick in!! Look at what some of our members can do with bike refurbishments for example. My son's best-man is now a top service manager at Trivett, drives a nice company car, and was "needs to try harder" at school.

Listen guys - if you apply and get knocked back for whatever reason, remember to ask for feedback - the reasons you were not accepted They'll tell you if you ask nicely. Then ask if they know of anyone else who could use your services - remember they are a large diversified group AND can you apply again next time? Persistent trumps good every time. Good luck and show them you want the job. V :kuda:
