no mate. I got back from PI changed the oil and couldn't get it to do it but as you say you need to be hitting redline going into top. I was selling it do didn't want to spend dough pulling it apart. I sold it as was.

This happens to me had to have gearbox removed and found that a sir clip holding the gears in place broke away and fragments went in to the gear teeth had to replace 5th and 6th gear engine had to come out sorry for the bad news

Gearbox has been apart, everything looked brand new

Installed a quickshifter, think I might not b crackin the throttle off enough, its the OEM 1/4 turn tube I believe

Is the shift spring or star out of spec, boot touching the shifter? Strange it only affects 6th but you didnt see any damage. Spoken to any pro's about it or on other forums?

Nup the stars OEM only 13xxx km on it, the spring fine. Tried finding a similar problem on other forums no luck. I dunno if its still fucked yet, only ridden at Wakefield since its been looked at and QS installed
