I'm guessing it's some kind of servo for the original exhaust? and it's still there to avoid a fault on the ECU? if not what is it and can I take it off?

Hmmm for $80(posted) I think I'll keep the weight and blame it on poor lap times  Thanks :kuda:

If your keen on doing the servo eliminator yourself, you should be able to find the resistors and capacitor from Dicksmith or Jaycar. If ya can't be bothered, this guy is selling them for $35 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-servo- ... 4ab990a0e3

You could also do a "kleen air eliminator", it would be a lot simpler as only one plug is utlilised for closed/open loop. If you dig around here, someone has done one already.

Are you talking about for AIS removal (what I'm doing in the second photo)? I was just going to leave the servo removed, will that give a fault as well?

When I left the (AIS) Kleen air plug unplugged on the 6 it gave a fault.

I made my own servo eliminator, 2 resistors and a capasitor in a bit of resin, really easy, just followed instructions on the zx10-r.net site. Moved the PC111 to that empty space making heaps more space in the back. Cost $9 using Jaycar, dick smiths no longer seems to sell anything actually useful.

The kleen air/Pair mod is pretty easy to do on the Kawasaki... if you have a quickshifter to fit it's a great time to do it and save yourself the trouble later.

Ps: If you don't have a quickshiter it's also an awesome excuse to get one! :kuda:

Kleen mod doesn't flip codes as Wattie said.

Only go the servo eliminator if you need the space for a PC or something

Your best bet is to just plug the pipe work,on the latter 12s it did throw a code if you deleted the whole lot but you can slap a diode in the harness that can rid any codes.I just pluged the pipe work as it was much easier, the kleen air does not lose hp but if you dyno your bike (or use a data loger) it will give you a very faulse reading on the AFR's.It basicly just throws air into the exhaust.

Dick Smith stopped selling anything useful, when they were taken over by Woolworths !!! They are a complete joke compared to the Dick Smith of old.....

Jaycar FTW .
