Hey Gos, how do you organise transport of rims to Darryl?
Anyone ever heard of or used Chris Squires at Spoked wheels at Peakhurst in Sydney? http://www.spokedwheels.com.au/

I drove 'em down there mate - was on the way to Melbourne anyway for the Anzac Day footy......Kwakked Up wrote:.....Hey Gos, how do you organise transport of rims to Darryl?.....
you could post a pair of hubs down to Darryl for not much money, but they would cost a few bucks to post back once built ?
I haven't used Chris Squires before but someone will have ....

the KTM 520 has a new home
scored it for $1900 with 10 hours there and back driving to the country to pick it up its hard to keep the thing on two wheels on and off the road

Re: whats normal price to lace a wheel?
hey guys the motard is coming along does anyone know of a shop who can grind down my disc from 230mm to 220mm (rear) and 260mm to 250mm (front) as the disc on the motard wheels are binding on the calipers

I would have said an engineering shop but what lathe would work with a disk? Try Greg Ball Motorcycle engineering, if he is still around
Have you tried the wreckers? scrounge around for some smaller ones possibly?

Re: whats normal price to lace a wheel?
thanks rob just got off the phone to greg balls who can machine the disk for around $100-$120 for both disc thats ...... fantastic
so this conversion looks very doable now the wheels as in the pics only cost me $70 with axles
