Re: Birthday Ride
Gday Stu ..
The KSRC crew gradually evaporated ( oxymoron ? as it was raining .. ), however a Ducati riding mate ( Craig ) turned up on his 1198.
He rode from Manly to McGrath's Hill in light rain, and it was dry @ McG H.
We left there around 10 am, as the rain started, and it was light, but steady to Lithgow.
Short break, and on to Kandos, in constant rain now.
Arrived Kandos about 1:15 - wet crotch/feet, but thanks to new Dainese D-Dry gloves & heated grips, hands were only moist.
Rained steadily all day, as the rest arrived - 2 x Goulburn ( 1 KSRC ) - on bikes, 5 x Forster - on bikes, 1x Forster - car, & 2 x southern Sydney - car.
All in the Kandos Hotel - good tucker and great company.

I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
