Whilst I will attest to the awesome display of "rear wheel overtaking front wheel", I can assure you it had nothing to do with your tyres.... :)

I am running the new tread pattern Michelin Enduro Comp 5 on the front and the Enduro Comp 3 on the rear. Great tyres and better than those crappy AC10's I did have.

Agreed big fan of the michies. Never had an issue with grip and last ok on the road as well whilst riding between trails

It's a dirt squirter. If the rear isn't trying to overtake the front, you're not doing it right.

Hmm, maybe. If I do manage to get my fencing knocked over this weekend, which is looking reasonably likely, I'll try to sneak out next weekend.

Hey fellas.
I haven't read through the whole thread, maybe this has been answered elsewhere, so apologies in advance. Anyhow here's my question:

I have never ridden a dirt bike, and would love to try. I don't have a bike, and I don't have any dirt riding gear. As I have no idea whether it's something I'm likely to do regularly, I don't really want to go and buy it all, either.
What/where/how would I go about trying it out? I'm in Sydney.

Cheers :kuda:

In Melb there is a bike shop that will hire out bikes and gear . See if you can find a joint like that and have a ride . Might save you a fortune .... but might not
