Re: KSRC 'Gotta love this place' stories
When I wrote off my hhhhhhhhhoooonda if it wasn't for Wattie, hoffy and Blurr (Russ) I'd have been proper fukd!!!
I will never forget hearing Russ screaming back on his bike to get me once he realised I wasn't coming
And the trip on the back of Hoffys 12, probably going quicker then I would have been on my bike haha, if I wasn't so gutted about my bike I would have been loving it!!
Help and advice at the track, and race meets. The weekends away to gingers and phillip island, i would have never of done these things on my own....
All the laughs I've had, and generally being the best forum/ club I am apart of.
But I still blame jonno for the husky
haha

So to sum up Maddog's effort
- agreed to pick them up
- dug up extra contact details for me
- contacted me when they werent already orgainsed rather than walking away
- arranged a set when I couldnt
- then paid for them on my behalf.
Happy to help mate..Don't know what happened with that first number dontknow.gifJust don't lose that number for Melb
Now that we know Glen is across the the road, he's our man cause I don't actually go past the joint very often at all..

Happy to get you a set of nTechs..
Don't worry about giving them back mate, you keep em
You could just loan me the 10 for a season
I'll return it at seasons end or when I fall off it...
My shout out goes to robracer
Hooked me up with some pinstriping when I needed it urgent as.
Didn't know him at all,as I'd just joined but was happy for me to go to his house and pick it up,to get me out of the shit
He also helps out KSRC in so many ways, and so many of its members with anything STICKY
The motorcycling communities generous spirit to help out a fellow motorcyclist is a great thing to be a part of.
Simple case of...I got your back cause I know you got mine mentallity

Re: KSRC 'Gotta love this place' stories
Having been a member here for 7-odd years, since buying the mighty Barge - I really wouldn't know where to start.
Have had heaps of help with all sorts of things from members here - from those who helped kick in with parts &/or money for the recent rebuild on the Shadowfax, to help when I have needed parts collected or sent from all around the country - the number of times this has happened over the years I have totally lost count. Thanks to all of have helped out with this.
What I really like more than anything though is the great riding with punters from this site - from belting up the Ox chasing Paddo or watching Tinny fall off behind me
, to trying to stay in sight of Marty's Rex while he throws me the kuda while charging down Mt Hotham one-handed
or just having a great fang on the Bonang during a CDT - every one of these rides is just excellent.
Have to mention the boss and his missus for putting up with the drunken bums at his place every year for the Xmas track day and piss-up - its one of those gigs we always look forward to. Thanks guys

Huh ........I had to turn around for Timmy when he went down and didn't come around the next corner. Doing a you'ee and screaming back on that narrow street didn't win me any favours from Joey Cager.
Arriving at the scene and seeing you walking was one of the biggest reliefs of my life, especially first seeing your bikes condition. The later mach3 flight up to Broke to get Wattie and Hoff was interesting as well.
Anyways it was great to see ya walking all the same.

Re: KSRC 'Gotta love this place' stories
My "off" in January 2011 ...
Kudos to Hoffy, Wattie, & Damo ...
Took me to Wiseman's Ferry pub, then picked up a trailer, loaded bike, delivered bike home, and me to hospital.
Huge effort by all three ...
Well done, mates !

Seiko for helping me out at the island, no credit card and no rubber left on middle of rear tyre with 500kms to get home, steps up and pays for a new pilot.
Thanks Fella.
And Gos for trying to repair my radiator in Halls Gap, cause i had no idea. Cheers mate
