just wondering who's had experience buying tickets to a GP in another country, and how you went getting your tickets.
any problems to be aware of? best websites to buy from ? any hints/tips?
we are planning on attending the US GP at Laguna Seca, but i wouldnt want to order the tickets and then have them arrive here while i am O/S.
any advice would be appreciated.
Pete

buying overseas GP tickets
Hi Pete
I have done it for the last two years, Sepang, best and cheapest way was to go directly to the tracks site and buy from them. Both times we have had no problems buying tickets from the circuit the first year we had them sent to us here and the next year we picked them up at the tracks visitor centre on the morning of the first day.
No problems both times.

I went to Laguna Seca in 2010. Bought the tickets from the LS website and picked the tickets ups from a local collection centre (hotel).......this is called "Will Call". No problems with any of it. Tickets way cheaper than here. You'll enjoy the LS MotoGP.

Re: buying overseas GP tickets
have not done it for bikes...but have done it a number of times with F1 (British, Belgium and Monaco F1 races for example)
In the old days (thru the 90s) I just wrote to the event organiser and got them that way (just allow plenty of time)
and later (this century)...I just buy them of the F1 website for all or any races
plus this way you can also get packages... tix, accomm etc
