Re: Under cover copper
Booking people for not coming to a complete stop at stop signs seems to be high on the agenda again. I remember a mate getting booked for this many years back (I was in the car with him), he crawled almost to a stop, had a good look, all clear ( wide open interesction) but apparently it was a dangerous manouvre and he was booked for it. Couldn't believe it at the time, and I still don't get it. Why must the vehicle be completely stopped? Can't the driver see if the vehicle is moving at 1 km/h?

Re: Under cover copper
stuff like this is hardly news - the NSW coppers used to drive around in bright pink LJ Toranas in the 70's FFS !!
the only difference back then was they didn't have video cameras mounted to their heads.

Think the colour was actually 'hot pink' commonly referred to as nipple pink...Gosling1 wrote:stuff like this is hardly news - the NSW coppers used to drive around in bright pink LJ Toranas in the 70's FFS !!![]()

Re: Under cover copper
It was actually a very bright metallic pink. I know I had a hq in it........you really had to have a license in the 70's to understand

Re: Under cover copper
so this is completely different to the 3 coppers in sw sydney in white leathers (2 piece berik), white helmets, white boots and white r1's trolling camden valley way, campbelltown road, northern road and connecting roads in between in which respect?
these muppets fire up behind you at at least 3 times the speed limits, and sit right up your arse waiting for you to cock up. luckily the er6 has the factory pipes and is really quiet, so i could hear which side he was, and he was that close. in the end he pulled me up, claiming i was serveing all over the road (when in fact i had been positioning myself away from the twit cagers who drive on or over the white line. i disputed this and he the showed me the camera mounted to the tank looking through the screen. we watched the video and i pointed out to the stormtrooper he missed the 10 cars over the white line because he was fixated with trying to can me!
he then sheepishly remounted and fcuked off without even a stay safe call or anything
