That is all good if their website isn't down and you have access to the internet, oh and they actually send you a notice to start withvanrootn wrote:Apparently their system can take 48hrs to update, better to use iPhone and check ezyreg![]()

Biggest issue isnt being caught it is if there is an accident.
I drive many clients vehicles for work, I now have to check them online even if they tell me the vehicle is registered, not practical at all in some of the places I go to.
It has made an easy task time consuming and at times concerning.
Oh, when you travel interstate take your rego papers with you, it makes it a lot easier when the police need to check otherwise they need to radio in. Nothing ruins a holiday quicker than when they find out your an escapee right
All that said and done I am happy about no labels on the bikes

Re: Rego Labels canned in NSW
For years i rode with the sticker under the seat of the bike...
But in WA it has been great not having the stickers attached. but i agree.. it really is moving to a system of needing to carry your registration papers/ licence/ passport and a letter form the pope to verify your vehicle is roadworthy!
i believe the outcry in WA is because everyone is soooooooooo Busy they forget to pay renewals.... but due to policy... the 3rd party insurance expires 2 weeks after the renewal due date.. so the outcry is about how many un-insured vehicles are driving around. the WA cops have only just started on the numberplate scanning technology...

Re: Rego Labels canned in NSW
As Supafrog said , has been like that for a few years here in WA. Is great not having to clutter your bike with a label holder of some description.
Irony is RAC did a survey recently and reckon 70% of motorist want them back to remind them when rego is due!?
WTF !!! does not the bill in the mail suffice ?! IMO if ppl are that disorganised then they deserve to get fined for not paying rego!
FFS over here there is no MOT , no annual inspection , 90days to pay the damn rego prior to requiring a vehicle inspection (if not paid) ... some of these numnuts need to go over the tother side to see how it could be
cawksmokers !!

Yeah! I agree.. the system works... it's the idiots whoare provided for in the system that don't.
I just got my renewal notice, and paid the $225.00 annual fee... no dramas....
in saying that... i just went through a mining induction yesterday.. and i wont drive a car/bike i don't know its currnet roadworthiness status
