Australian Chris Vermeulen has been confirmed as the rider replacing the injured Colin Edwards at the forthcoming Le Mans round of the MotoGP™ championship for the NGM Mobile Forward Racing team. Edwards is set to return in four weeks time at Catalunya.

I think his last year at Kawasaki really hurt him from a career perspective it was kind've known internally ,from what I gather anyway that he wasn't willing to ride the bike anymore and was just seeing out his contract.
For his sake I hope he's good and he does well. Hopefully it rains for him
