My ute was over 50k, but for under 50k I'd probly go the Triton (not many in decent spec with the bits you need under 50k these days). If I didn't need a ute (tax) I'd go the Jeep Grand Cherokee..
What would you buy?

Re: What would you buy?
Go the V8 diesel 76 series mate, it is a real 4wd not like these dinky toys mentioned above and has more pull than a room full of teenagers, and fuel economy? nah doesnt come with one.
Seriously for that money what about a near new klueger or Prado?
Why? great family car, can do most off-road well, tows well, and having owned a prado they are just a good thing.

As mentioned on the phone,
I would look at a liberty like my work one but with the turbo engine.

Re: What would you buy?
Having had one as a rental in Brisbane last week I wouldn't recommend one if you are on antidepressants as you may just want to top yourself.fireyrob wrote:TV just told me theres an all new Camry Hybrid!
The Liberty's have terrible seats if you are above tiny size, I was keen to get the GT and hated the seating.
Me just for fun and because I already have one I would get the Golf GTi. No good for towing and doing anything practical but that is why you get it. I did take the family away for week in it(wife and 2 kids, pram, tonka truck, no bikes though) just to prove it could be done

I had a 2010 Mk VI Manual GTI and after numerous warranty repairs I got rid of the POS! I have sworn off anything Euro ever againNaked Twin wrote:Me just for fun and because I already have one I would get the Golf GTi.
