Lucky Escape

Post by z900/zx9 »

Well after 193,000 ks and some fading braking at crash corner i decieded to give the tracky some new discs.Well not really new as i bought some new ones for the roady i then transfered the old discs from the roady to the tracky, these ones have only done around 60,000 ks so they have got to be better than the ones that came of.I was thinking of posting a pic of the ones that had 193,00 on them but it maybe a little shocking ;) Hopefully this is the reason my brakes were getting shitty as they have been flushed with motol fluid and the mastercylinder is ok so are the pads .It has braided lines so its probably not rocker science that its the discs  The lucky thing was as i was tightening the caliper bolts one of them just about snapped and would have been stuck inside of the thread on the caliper mount  .Soon as i felt it just loosen up i backed of right away and proceeded to withdraw the bolt very slowly and gently 8) .all good so pinched one from the roady as i am hopeing to do broadford this monday
