Video of cyclist taking out a mirror

Post by tim »

I wish I had a dollar for every time I'd heard a motorcycling story about someone taking out the mirror of a car.

It's someone on a pushie, but close enough....

I'm with you Blurr, cyclist was behind silver car initially, then overtook closeby on the left, in blindspot of the car. What a knob.

Agreed. There is no place for cyclists on the road in advanced countries where the traffic system is organized and speeds are high.

It works well where I come from, because back in India no one really exceeds 50kmph and there are multitude of other 2 wheelers so it all works fine in an organized chaos. If someone does hit you, you sort of brush it off and move on.

Over here, cycling on the road and sharing it with other cars is just euphemism for suicide. I am so tired of cyclists riding like they claim they own the road, run red lights, ride on the other side of the road and the list goes on.

Some fucked up "green" mentality we have here in Australia. If only the Lycra clad uneducated green fascist cyclist stopped to do the math, that them riding a bicycle instead of driving a car isn't going to save the world from pollution we wouldn't have this problem.

Even if all of Australia start riding bicycles it's not going to change much. You ask why? Consider this statistic

Population of Australia - 22.8 million
Population of Mumbai alone - 21.2 million

What we can do as a nation, can be undone by cities in other parts of the world. So just don't bother with the green, save the planet hokum. It ain't happening.

If you want to exercise, just fucking go to the gym. Stop risking yourself from my 1200 kg Honda civic and becoming a statistic.

End of rant.

The law allows them to use the road and I have said this before, if you don't like that law get it changed or stop fukin whining.
Yeah I know some cyclists are a danger but I see more lunatics on motorcicles and in cages, can we include pedestrians as non rego paying users too?

But be careful what you wish for, if they get banned then any thing on two wheels might be next. Besides think of the children that ride to school.

  ahahahaha, ;)

I cant stand the Licra wearing tossers. Furthermore pedestrians are not allowed to walk in the middle of the F#cking road so not sure what Jonno is snorting :?. I couldnt give a shit about that they dont pay rego, however when on the road they should abide by the road rules.

:D :kuda:

I cycle and understand both sides of the fence. Pushie riders who ride like twats deserve what they get. But, those who abide by the rules and are then harassed by car drivers because it caused them to have to slow down for 30 seconds is also part of the issue. I will admit to many mirrors and dents occurring over the years both on pushies and motorbikes. Some people just don't care, some just don't look and then again others flaunt the law due to anonymity. There are issues on both sides, but I think an identifying plate would solve a lot of them.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

What Steve, now you're saying traffic system is not organized and operates at higher speeds compared to some other nations? Do I need to post a link from Mumbai traffic or something?
