ZXR250A electrical diagram wanted, PLEASE help

Post by Irishzxr »

Hi guys and gals,

I have bought a ZXR250A and theres seems to be a problem with the electrics.

Its a bit sluggish to start, and while i'm riding it can get a bit sluggish and bog down and the lights while on a dipped headlight just dim and then come back bright, and continue to dim and come back over and over.

If anyone has an electrical diagram for this model i'd really appreciate it, or if you have the manual.

Thanks,
my email is, byrnefrancis@ymail.com

just my opinion but it sounds more to be fueling, the light dimmering can be from poor charge cause the bikes idling and running poorly.
see how the electrics check out, a set of plugs may do it good. Also check the air filter
but if this dont fix it id look at the carbs and give them a clean and see how that goes :)
let us know how it all goes, and any questions just shoot :)
anyone can go fast in a straight line,,,,

Timmy's probably on the money but for safety's sake, check your reg and your stator, stator issues cause these problems with this bike all the time, if nothing there, it's fueling, most likely in the carbs like Timmy said.
