I always liked the green. It meant less people noticed the green discharge......

Saw a spanka Green Zx14r cruise past me while i was at the gate in arvo.

Rider had a real colourful helmet, nice bike, pretty quiet though, was riding solo.

:kuda:
Yes, that was me ;) Went for a quick spin around Penrith and up the mountain.

Looks good but would look better with.
Thats the first mod. Waiting for the dealer to call me tomorrow with a quote for the pipes and a few other goodies.

Bear wrote:Very nice in the green mate - i'm looking at buying one at the moment.Only had a black one at Gold Coast bike show.
Do you mind divulging price you paid ? PM if you prefer.

Cheers.
Most dealers around Sydney were asking $21700 on road. Got mine for $21500 ride away. RRP is $19990 + ORC.

It weighs 268kg with a full tank, but it feels much lighter on the road and surprisingly flick able.

I heard they had a shorter wheelbase than mine, but looking at the specs it's 20mm longer

i love it, BUT can you get or do they come with the solo seat cowl / cover.
every pic i have seen of them is without one and all the other models have the solo seat that make the rear look more sporty, that with the grab handle reomoved.

Yes, Kawasaki do make a seat cowl but apparently they arent available here in Australia yet.... thats one of the things im waiting for the dealer to ring me back on. Around $260 Ive heard. I wouldve have thought youd get one with the bike.

Sex on wheels.

THat looks amazing. Would love to get one but have two issues...

1. Can't afford to buy one
2. Just starting to handle the weight of the 6R let alone a 14 and have not had enough experience for a 14 yet. Maybe a few years down the track.

Seat cowls are always an aftermarket accessory with Kawasaki. There is $ to made in selling a piece of plastic ! ;)

I hadn't noticed the fucking ugly flames on the belly pan previously. That is a deal breaker for me, it would have to be removed prior to purchase. I just couldn't live with it. Apart from that, I would love one in the shed. Another great toy to go dust up sports bike wannabees on a sunday!!
