OK...you've had three hours. Is it done yet or are you still just pulling yourself?

well in short they all pissed me of with ridiculous offers of 2-2.5-3 g's so what i did was told them not gona bother with it (since i can just buy a new bike if i wreck it which heaven forbids to happen) and asked for a third party insurance policy the thing where i ram someone and they pay it of only 250-300 bucks as i dont trust the internet when it comes to cash ( scams and frauds and all) im going to pop down to a store and pay it of if possible so far decided to go with aami insurance since my dads been there with them for 5 years he said they might give me a discount for loyalty or something like that, unless someone has a better company in mind?

next step tomorrow narellen bgw
then sunday fishing unless that gets cancelled that means its time to ride!

I use AAMI and they have paid out for me with my off....Give them a ring IMO rather than doing their online quote as I saved $400 on my last policy just by calling up....

Also what size and weight are you I have a set of Collins leathers I would part with for a couple hundred only worn a hand full of times....

im 175 cm tall and i weigh 75 so yea you could say i got a bit of a gut :? might be a bit to big for me
i see the members are ruthless trolls as ever
all though i am curious about this as my mate who has the same bike as me has his car and his his license for over 5 years now has told me hes got full comp for 600 which sounds to good to be true anyone know of such a company? or is his comp low because he turns 25 this year may, has 3 cars (which i think are all with the same company) and has held his license for more then 5 years?

also contacted the Clyde stay upright motorcycle people and they tell me its going to cost me about 1.2k for the 3 lessons in the advance riding course starts of with advance 1($450) > intermediate ($280) > advance 2 ($490) he also did say that you can start at what ever level, but he did advise caution as each course would require some knowledge from the previous one (also you have to get our own bike on to ec (which i might add i feel like if i go ill write it of  ) but im apparently paying for the feedback the professional will follow me, i follow him and gives me tips and all) i dont mean to sound ignorant but that's a rip of considering the amount of money, or do you guys think its worth it

are they supposed to be this fucking expensive? its ridiculous does anyone else know if there's anything cheaper out there that they have any experience attending any feedback about where you learned would be great

p.s on a side note he was a legend he told me could get fired for telling me this but he told me not to do the course as i was doing my p's test very soon as they let you practice most of the day and teach you a lot there and that if i felt like i needed to learn more then i should hop on straight to the intermediate from that point

Not cheaper, but a better option when you are starting out in my opinion, is the California Superbike School. It concentrates more on riding technique and the first level is definitely worth it when you are learning to ride. Search some of the threads as there are a few write ups and comparisons about the different courses that people have done.

As for the costs. How much do you value your life? Because, if you fuck up a corner and run wide hitting a truck head on, you will probably regret not paying that $550 to learn to ride better.

true
um a quick stupid question here
is the compulsory third party insurance the same as (if not please explain) third party property damage? or is this covered in the ctp

also rechecked with a mate turns out that was his ctp and not comprehensive

This was answered already. Compulsory third party is person, not property. Third party property is the one you need to get.
