Of course I'd love to see Sykes go well, he a nice laid back guy - would fit in well here in OZ - and he rides a green bike, that has been strong so far this year. lets hope that bringing the team "in-house" has the desired effect.

i think marco on the bmw will give it another red hot shake... but i put jonny rea in the same category as pedrosa... he's fast as hell, but aint ever going to win a championship...

i'll be rooting for sykes and lascorz all the way!!

Read somewhere they feel safer defending the title on a bike they have setup info on race data etc, than risk guessing on the new one

Because it's not homologated yet. It will run in Superstock this year (when the FIM inspectors have been to the factory and verified that Ducati have actually made 250 of them) and then it will run in Superbike NEXT year.
