Yeh I think the thermostat was replaced as well, or at the very least checked.

Might look into the hoses thanks
Yep, still got the fan and happy to sell it - $30 plus postage sound fair ?

Was also thinking today, if the bike is running very lean or over-advanced, it could run too hot as well. Has your mate changed airfilter and pipe without re-fuelling, or even done something to the timing ?

Cheers,
Brian
hey Brian thanks for the offer of the fan, turns out there was one on his new radiator so we won't be needing it thanks again

Hey all,

Just a quick update on how we are going. We wired his fan in to a toggle switch, for some reason it was not coming on at all. So now instead of waiting to 100 degrees before the fan comes on he will switch it on at 75 degrees.

We also hooked up the original overflow bottle and filled it up to the max mark. I believe that due to the fact a normal overflow bottles intake is the bottom and the juice bottle he had as the overflow only has the one intake that doesn't have any fluid in it,it's possible that it may have sucked air in when the pressure was dropping while it cooled down.

Fingers crossed it helps I'll let you know after his next track day.
