Braided lines, Flip the eccentrics as mentioned.

and adjust your headlight down a bit, no doubt 2 up it was blinding cars.

The ZRX has the worst headlight in modern History. i highly doubt the new ninja1000 has shit ones. :kuda:

I'm still in disbelief! I just don't understand it.........yeah sure get a Zed as well...........but.......but........but......get rid of the Rex?????? I'm really confused??? The ZRX is the greatest piece of shit ever built, but god damn if they aren't fast and fun! :D :D It will never give you "That" stirring of the loins which the Rex does. But, enjoy your new Zed any way and I'll give you a burl on mine when the withdrawals really set in. ;)

Firstly the ZRX never dragged anything, & I can tell you, Ive had some very serious runs up the old road with Busa's & Blades, so if your dragging your feet adjust your riding style. Even when I am racing I dont drag my feet. :?
That aside, the headlights are just piss weak IMO. Remember I had a Phillips "white light" globe in the rex & the light was pretty good. The brakes are tokico's..So it might be the ABS making them feel a bit woody ?? :?
Thanks for the heads up on the extra heat from the higher wattage globes, didnt think of that. Might have to go with a set of "white light globes if things get to hot. ;)

I sort of agree, the Z is really nice, but the Rex had soul by the truck load!!!!! :kuda:

I put one of the 100w globes in today.. Holy crap! I put it in the highbeam side. Yeah they do put out more heat. But a shitload more powerfull light! So I wont put one in the lowbeam side as its on all the time & dont want dramas with melting things. I might get one of these for the lowbeam>> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PHILIPS-H7-5 ... 4600cf6322

I'll go for a run tonight & see how it goes. The 100w plus the Phillips 50% in the low beam might do the trick..

Well that was a pointless exesise. The 100w globe made little to no improvment. So I put the 55w back in & tried it with & without the Mrs on the back, da dar! the adjustment was out to buggery.. Spent half an hour on a long dark bit of straight road &
Got them really close to being correct, but the biggest problem is when the Mrs is on with me they are out.. So I set them for the best with or without her on it & its heaps better. While still not 21 century lighting..

Still might give these a try>> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PHILIPS-H7-5 ... 4600cf6322

Have you adjusted your suspension from standard yet? as standard (me being 91kg) the rear sag on my zed was a little over 45mm! could make a difference...

Yeah its all good now, I still think the lights are sub standard, they'll do for the amout of night riding I do.. but I do like the nice tight chassis, & the suspension that work pretty good. I fitted the fender eliminator today, made the arse look nice & tidy. I will be starting on the custom colouring soon. So as soon as it stops raining I wanna go for a ride!!!!!
