I was linked this in another forum. Not the sort of thing I would normally read, however, like it sometimes happen, the OP was from someone I know and respect, so I read it, watched some of the podcast and listened to a few audio interviews.
For anyone who has an adult son or family member with a disability, and I am sure there might be a few given the number of members, then this is certainly something worth reading and watching. It brings together two of some of the most marginalised minority groups, being the disabled and sex workers. However, the woman being interviewed, is far from your average sex worker and is leading several initiatives to assist families in this area. I found it a little disturbing while at the same time being quite heart warming and certainly very emotional in parts. If you are a big softy, then have the Kleenex handy.

Totally agree, Marty ... heard it on 702 today - a very caring & inspiring lady.
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

I think I saw that doco...should have seen the guys face, he was so happy and his parents IIRC helped him get ready for the occassion.
We who are blessed with normal (or near normal) lives cannot understand how much something like this must mean to those with all sorts of disabilities.
