What a 24hr Period...

Post by laidback »

Woke up yesterday morning with a pain in left side.
By lunch time pain got unbearable and I was dry heaving and sweating like someone had a hose on me.
Off to hospital I went...cat scan at 4PM
Theatre at 9PM to remove kidney stone that had caused an infection and have a stent in.
Back home now and have to go back in 2 weeks to get stent removed.
Pain killers wearing off so just as well I have a small supply stashed away. 8)

Best thing I can say about heavy pain killers is get off them as soon as you can. They are not good! But, if you have to have them, Endone and Oxycontin is the good stuff!!

Good luck with the recovery LB. Kidney stones are painful, so I know why you were sweating like a dog shitting razor blades.
