Re: ninja 250r TURBO KIT???
First of all it's not a turbo charger, turbo chargers are powered by exhaust gases, (exhaust gases spin a turbin which spins a fan which gives boost). Secondly the power requirements, (watts) are so low I doubt it would give you any boost, (p=ei) P being watts, e being voltage, i being current in amps, so the top motorcycle device would only be using 90 watts, hardly enough power to give you any boost. The load on the alternator, (about 8 amps) would probably consume more HP than you could possibly gain. Thirdly, it looks like a pile of shit. I would not waste my money. Go buy yourself a good bottle of booze instead. Cheers.dthong wrote:hey guys i found this on a site it looks pretty plastic but i thought would be a fun project please tell me what you rekcon.

I reckon it would be awesome. Just think, when you are stopped at the lights in summer it can blow a gentle breeze on your face.

You'd probably get a better performance out of one of the ones you wire up that just makes the blow off valve sound

Maybe it is meant to be connected to the exhaust and used as a 12V generator.

looks like its meant to be a ram-air kind of system... ie pushing more air into the airbox... not sure how this increases compression ratio thon order to promote air flow through the power turbine to increase engine breathing capacity of the products to improve engine compression ratio, speed up the engine combustion efficiency and reduce air pollution emissions.

what they need to say is that "if" it did work, it would increase your a/f ratio....Six Addict wrote:looks like its meant to be a ram-air kind of system... ie pushing more air into the airbox... not sure how this increases compression ratio thon order to promote air flow through the power turbine to increase engine breathing capacity of the products to improve engine compression ratio, speed up the engine combustion efficiency and reduce air pollution emissions.![]()
