dutchy wrote:Fair enough. The only point I'm making is the same point I nearly always make when I comment on one of these "blah blah blah caught by police doing blah blah blah.

How can we judge the actions of the "accused" or the police when we don't have all the information.

Or maybe I should join the great many (thankfully not on this forum) and just blindly defend the bloke with outdated examples of how i used to do exactly the same thing with out killing any one even though the example I give, although similar in theme, will be set in a totally different environment and set of circumstances.

I will then finalise my post with the phrase "fuck da police", and an emoticon giving the single finger salute
I think you will find, my first post essentially says the same thing... we don't know the exact circumstances.

Despite what some think, I am not anti police. I have several friends and one very good mate who are in the job. I respect what they have to do and deal with daily. My comments are all about posts from people who are hypocritical. They admit they did shit similar in their yoof, but have the audacity to call them a goose??? Same when some guy or girl gets done for 160 in a 100 zone and is portrayed as being near on a murderer.

Oh................and may I finally say....... Fuck the police thebirdman.gif :P

Unfortunately the police are like any other portion of the population, there are good ones and there are arseholes. I've met both. Don't blame the police. They are required to enforce the laws however stupid they are. Blame the lawsmakers. they are the ones who are making the civilized world a nany state by making laws to protect the idiots from themselves, (me included). Scientists call the stupid actions of creatures gentic cleansing. genetic cleansing insures that the stupidest of the creatures don't live to reproduce. You can see the result of stifling this natural process in the human race. Duh!!! Have a JIm and ride like you stole it!!!

Oldman... nobody I don't think has blamed the police over this incident. What we are all crapping on about, is that how can we call this bloke a goose, when we have most likely done not only similar, but definately in my case, much, much worse and likely only last weekend too!!!!

Once again, the police are not to blame for this incident, nor do I believe they did the wrong thing booking the person. Most general duties and Detectives are PFG people from my experience. This chat is not about the police. But.....
Dutchy, answer me this question then (Honestly), as I know how my mates on the job answer it......... You can PM me the answer if you don't want it publicised............. "What is your opinion of the Highway Patrol?" ;)

This 34 year old MAN is a dickhead for driving an unregistered car, with twelve people in a tray, whilst unlicensed, on a public road. He deserved to get caught and deserves whatever comes his way.

Other than being irresponsible and unsafe, it's a gainst the law.

Imagine if someone else, who was doing an equally unsafe and irresponsible thing, at the same time, on the same street, smashed into this clown. How would he be having to confront the parents and families of the twelve passengers he killed....

Laws that are there to protect no only these sorts of knobs, but the average punter.

You can't justify stupidity.....and he's a class idiot!

My two cents.....

Hypocritical? Sure, technically. But surely it's more along the same lines as having kids and telling them n ot to climb on the roof because they could get hurt? As a kid, I didn't spare a second thought jumping onto the roof at home. But if I saw one of my kids on the roof, I'd be having a bloody heart attack!

...CRINGE......
So is J walking, but I bet you do that, despited the "against the Law" rubbish.
We are not even capable of crossing the bloody street without a "law" to protect us from ourselves!

Imagine if a big rock fell from the sky and hit a flagpole, which then fell and crossed the power lines, which then fell and electrified the rain soaked
footpath, causing a J walking pedestrian to fall in front of the overloaded ute.....

But unfortunately because of social "conditioning"....so would I Jase
