Laser exhausts

Post by SNAFU »

Hi!
While up at Shearwater Motorcycles in Tassie I spotted these beautiful Laser pipes. I currently run Two Brothers carbon cans on my ZX1000 Ninja and are thinking of swapping over to the Lasers. They are $1200 for a set and well worth the money. They also have removable baffles and sound fantastic.

Look like they might melt the pillions boots..
I'm sure someone here will snap up your old cans if you do the swap.

Yeah mate I have made a set of extenders for my pillion pegs and will probably put the Two Brothers cans on my Z1502-6.

I put a set on my 2004 Z1000 and it improved the midrange a lot ,(with the baffles out) but I lost a lot of top end and could not tune it out with my PCIII. They looked good but I finally sold them and went to a Muzzy full system. Yours, of course is a totally different bike and I am interested to see what your performance is when you get them. Jim Beam is a lovely colour. :kuda:

I can't imagine the Laser's being near the quality of the Two Brothers cans, but they have a certain appeal.

I am sure many people would have told you what good looking cans you have  , but then I am partial to black.

I looked at using the Laser Extremes on my Zed but quickly decided that they would only make power without the baffles and then they would be very loud. Put them in and it would run like stock, defeating the purpose. Otherwise they do look kinda cool!

It's always about your arse. Do you have hemroids or are you just anal retentive??? If you drink more Jim Beam you would forget about your arsehole. :kuda:

All good stuff. I try to stay with the 80 proof, (40%) as I end up in the slammer when I drink the 100 proof, (50%) stuff. Cheers!!!

Southern Comfort is a big girls blouse drink.
Man up and get yourself a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed.
It knocks Jack Daniels out of the park.
Just don't spill it cause it is quite exxy and doubles as a paint stripper
