I'd suggest wacking a cable tie around the lower fork to see how much travel you are using ;)
Tell me gents, what sort of travel should the shocks have?

Mine on my commute (no real "hard" braking) i had 70mm of travel.

Fork upgrade done by previous owner. 8)
Thats a hard question to answer. My forks were shortend a little, that comes from the allowable travel. So I will not have as much available travel as others. The better question is "how far off the bottom is my cable tie" ;) My answer for that is about 4-5mm, ie just off the bottom. I am still working on the forks with the higher rear tyre ;)

The specs I remember reading on the ZX6 forks were 120mm of travel. Static and rider sag chew up a chunk of that.

Went to a day at Wackyfield Park on Wednesday, made some further adjustment to the forks over the day.

I'm going to see how it goes on the road now, doubt I'd ever use the brakes on the road as hard as I was at the track - especially after doing a pillion lap with Mr Giles last Friday at Phillip Island..........I have obviously got ALOT to learn in regards to braking

BTW, big thanks to Keith Muir for the photo ;)
