Done deal. Going to get the Q2's from Madaz next CSS at EC, for the free track day. :kuda:

How many laps to scrub in you reckon? Because if it's too many I'll head over the day before and scrub em in on the road.

Use Prepsol to get the wax off and give them one lap then hook in. Q2's are better than any other ROAD tyre for grip, but good luck getting rid of your chicken strips.

Prepsol roger I'll bring some.

Chicken strips on michelins are easy.

I do confess though I've got a hugger and I can't get a 55 to fit. I'll ask again for a 190/55 rear, if they fit - great, if not, back to 50, *sigh*. I guess I could ditch the hugger but my beautiful rear shock! argh

use spacers to lift the hugger up mate. Heap of washers do the job.

It's a GCC hugger. Integrated chain guard. failzor. But yes regardless spacers may still help and I'll certainly be doing what I can to make it fit if it doesn't.

If you use the Q2's on the track you should get rid of them easy but using them on the road it's a big ask to lose them completely unless you are a very quick rider. I still had 4 or 5mm on mine on the ZRX after the Super's CDT when everyone else, even those following me, had lost their chicken strips completely. I wouldn't have minded taking the Rex to the track to test them out and take them to the edge of the tyre as the grip they offer felt exceptional on the road.

So have done a bit of a ring around and im faced with a new dilema...

The standard fitment on the 636 was a 120/65/17 front i have done the ring around today and everyone is saying that its a weird fitment and i have to either go a 120/60 or a 120/70 as nobody makes a 120/65 anymore. Which way do i go? and what is everyone else with a 636 running?
