A bloody good day - Pics added plus one more
Travelled up to Symmons Plains this morning for my first track day on this new bike.
Suitably impressed with the handling, braking and the overall performance. Did a really great job of the short track.
Didn't get a chance to time my laps, but I gave it heaps and felt really confident and comfortabl and kept up with a GSXR750 and ZX9.
I'll put up some photos of the day next week, after downloading them.
I'm a big fan of this 2007 ZX6! Not a bad track toy!

Re: A bloody good day
Cool, I also hit the track yesterday on my ZX9.
The modern 600's are pretty bloody good track weapons for us mere mortals.
Nearly all the bikes that got binned yesterday at QR (at least 6 of them) were 1000cc Blades, Gixxers and R1's. All that power and speed is fun but you have to know how to pull it up at the end of the straight and when to get back on all that gas/grunt

Re: A bloody good day - Pics added
Added a few pics from Saturday at Symmons Plains, Launceston.
Not too sure if I can get any closer to the tyre edge, but I had a ball trying! Also a few pit lane shots and one just after I have washed and dried the bike.
Good day all round!!

I'd like to try to get to Phillip Island at some stage, when all you lot go. That way I can learn more, have fun and meet new people!!
Next track day here in Tas is at Baskerville on Nov 6......should be equally as enjoyable.

Good on ya Stu,
looks like your pretty close to the edge of the tyre to me.
I was thinking that the 6 would be a good track bike too.Have fun mate

Just had a look at that tyre photo, hard to tell off a photo tho, so prob wrong, but maybe a bit more spring preload? or a click or two more of comp in the rear?
