One size fits all ... Textile bike jackets ... Correct Fit ?

Looking for opinions re finding the correct fit / size for a textile bike jacket.

Go to a shop that stocks a lot of brands & try all till you find a fit & style within your budget.

+1.. sizes can vary between brands so def have a go at different ones also bear in mind they will usually have the removable liner (basically a jacket in a jacket) in them which makes the fit a little tighter..

I advise you to get a size larger than the size you usually are, as you may need space under the jacket for clothing and jumpers. i did that and it fits perfect.

i found being a bigger guy it was harder to find the type of jacket i wanted ended up going to mcas tried on a heap of different jackets and like gpz_jim says sizes vary quite alot you really do have to shop around a bit
i ended up with a dryrider jacket it had a winter liner which ive never used but its good has lots of adjustable straps to keep it fitting correctly and has air vents for africa which are good for summer think it cost me 350

When you are trying on the jacket don't just stand there. Make sure you can move freely and if possible try to sit on a bike that is a similar style to yours while wearing the jacket.
Make sure you are comfortable with the way it may ride up your back and tightness in your arms.
Check out for any and all adjustments the jacket may have and if you like it and think it is the jacket for you keep it on and look around the store for as long as possible just to make sure it feels right.
