New Toy.............well ok its not a bike.... New Pictures!

Post by swabio-ACT »

Well,

Have decided that it is time to get out and about a bit more, and the old adventra really wasn't cutting it.............. so we decided that the replacement needed to be more capable........... and here it is! Although it now has a snorkel fitted............. waiting for the Rhino Pioneer Platform rack....... and then we will be good to go!

Very nice! Makes my old GQ look a bit ancient. But I don't think you'll get far with your number plates like that. :)

It's a plug into that black box on top of the winch isn't it?

Nice! Very nice! I miss my trolly :(
Now it's time to get some proper rubber on those wheels ;)

winch remote is plugged into a socket on the winch, but most have a manual release lever that let's you unwind the cable manually, not fun when your drunk friends tie it up to a tree without you knowing :x

It is a plug in control, so the controls are stored in the car, and it needs power to the ignition to work also........so should be good to ward of would be vandals...........

Its first hit out is this saturday, with a drive upto Rainbow Beach......... via Teewah beach........... should be awesome!

Hmmm I don't plan on doing any real mud work, mainly beach / sand, so these tyres will suffice for the moment, although I will replace them with some mickey thompson ATZ 4 Ribs when it is time for them to go.......

Must have been the reflection............the plates are fine ;) Hmmm there isn't really that much difference between the GQ and GU ;)
