I allways taught 75% front 25% rear on good road surfaces, but thats not cast in stone of course.
But having said that, i grew up on big old air cooled kawaka's and they need a lot of rear brakes, esp trail braking into corners to keep them tucked in and on line.
Thats my biggest problem on track, still use way to much rear brake. but it is surprising how hard and long u can carry front brakes into corners, esp turn 1 at broady!!!
When i did the alex gobert road race academy a couple of yrs ago, that was one thing they kept on me about. old habits die hard, plus i grew up in outback QLD and did a lot of dirt riding growing up.
