Heres some more pics on work ive done.
Cut off tags on the tank for the side covers and covered the pinch weld with edging to neaten it up.
Made some side filler panels for teh sub frame - these are still to come off again and be painted properly.
Moved and replaced the coolant bottle up into the tail.
Made a new exhaust mount and some new fairing mounts.

Re: damos Zxr750j1 Moving kawasaki replica continues
Built my own under tray- i wanted to keep the profile as race look as possible, i had an old gixer thou fender eliminator lying around so used some of it.
I built it by using just the light section of the gixer fender eliminator and using fibre glass sheet built it into this.
First i cut a cardbord templete of the size i needed- measured up exactly where the light was going to go and cut out the hole.
fitted the light with a number of hammered flat pop rivets and then used some filler to finish it off smooth and then the magic rattle can matt black.
Im actually thinking of doing it red the same as the lower part of the tail to flow right through?? What are your thoughts??

Re: damos Zxr750j2 streetfightered
Wella after building a number of streetfighters over the years and thinking the bug had left me.........................
I have now turned my bike into a fighter.
I'm gonning to run same body work and paint work just a mild fighter job on this one rather than wild.
I'm running serco bar risers, tomaselli fat bars and a z750 front fairing and head light.
Let me know what you think-i'm alway open to both positive and negative feedback.
Cheers damo

Re: damos Zxr750j2 streetfightered
Something like a zrx headlight would look more suited. Or swap the tail out. The 750 unit is too modern and sharp looking compared to the tail. 2c
