Good luck getting a job though. It sucks to train for an industry, then have to switch fields due to no jobs. Hope you find something soon

Just spoke to Plumber mate here, he's gone out on his own because of lack of work with employer
You may have to get something else until Labor is kicked the fuck out because of their stupid
economy destroying policies and taxes. ( I used to be Labor...not any more!)
It wasn't more than a year ago the Pollies were whinging we were short of Tradies....they fixed that problem right up haven't they

Have a look at the incentive based trade courses, where the gov has deemed a shortage..... they pay the Company & the apprentice bonuses
My 19 year old son gets 6K handed to him over 4 years & I get 5-6K ...... Printing industries
Don't know what its like for SA or of this is just state based for NSW.

Go to NZ, Christchurch needs all sorts of Tradesman, they are recruiting builders from Ireland, there are some problems though with Insurance companies being slow to pay the Tradies
Of course if you consider this option you'd want to do a bit of homework first as I could be wrong!
I could ask my mate back in ChCh who's a Plumber if you are interested.
