Apparently a new bike, horsepower up, talk of it having a supercharger and ABS and traction control, not sure if it's hype or not, there is a lot around on other forums but just wondering if anyone on here has heard anything

I am sure the blower is off their Jetski engine (1500cc 250+HP) which has similar engineering design to the ZX12R and ZZR14 engines.
I have seen someone fit one to a 12R but I cant remember where.

Kawasaki patented a smaller blower design for bikes when they developed the ZZR14 years ago in expectation for a HP showdown with a possible V5 Honda and an updated Busa, that war didnt eventuate obviously as most have moved on to handling instead (finally).

Thats just what I have read else ware, dont know how much truth there is in it and unlikely to be hugely more powerful than it is now, 200HP is a lot for the road IMO especially now the top speed hyper-bike wars are all but gone.

All I could see happening is a small increase in power/engine management, improved looks, handling/weight and the latest tech components fitted.

Anyway as in the past, we will see artist impressions that are way off, lots of conjecture and hype before it is revealed.

My 2.1 cents worth.

Seiko,

That edition was the one that made me decide I was getting a 12 instead of a 14 :P
