Bike pulls to the right?

Post by 09sydrd »

Ive noticed recently the 10 is pulling to the right  almost feels like you gotta ride it side saddle to correct it.
Its figure it's either a suspension issue which needs adjusting or the chassis is slightly bent? Any ideas.

Wheels straight?

Your rear wheel could be slightly out of alignment to your front. Other than that there are heaps of causes.

Natuarally they all tend to pull slightly to the right however not to the extent where you near countersteer to the left. I could only notice it when I had you hands on the bars

wheels are not laser straight but the blocks are even on the adjuster so should be ok. Will get it looked at next service.
Cheers

Bike pulls to the right?

Post by Wattie »

If I remember a correctly there was a thread about it on zx10r.net talking about it.

I think it was decided that it was the wind catching the exhaust on the right. As the left is more streamlined.
But remember they are Americans. So they are quite unique...

also check the tyre wear/shape/pressure and inspect the steering head bearings.
