Re: RIP Ken Wootton
I was just gobsmacked when I heard.
Ken did a lot for me when I was racing in the mid 90's, including helping with sponsors and blagging me parts and bits and pieces where he could. I was always dicing with the team AMCN bike ridden by Marton Pattendy (Scozza for those who remember him-a cracking bloke by the way, still a journo, but doing cars now for John Mellor's Go Auto E-news) I was but a lowly backmarker and mobile chicane for the fast guys, but he didn't care, he put as much effort into helping guys like me as anyone else. I just cannot tell you how upsetting this is. Phil, mate, I am so sorry, I know how you must be feeling right now. Chin up mate!

Re: RIP Ken Wootton
Ken was both entertaining and at times controversial. It was a pleasure to meet him, watch him race and talk shop.
He was an amazing guy who put his heart and soul into the motorcycle world and always jumped in to lend a hand or offer advice. You will be greatly missed by many. Ride on.

It all comes down to how you ride it.....
