I only learnt to snowboard 2 weeks ago, and went again yesterday, cannot get enough (keep crashing and have some mighty impressive bruises) and am wondering why it took me so long to try it!
Learnt to ski as a kid, was never too keen on it, so decided to toboggan instead when we went to the snow (much LOLs when drunk).
Supamodel decided to teach me to snowboard, and it seems i've got the basics down, and can't wait to learn to go faster.
Pink on the outside, but still green on the inside!
We were down there last week skiing..
Haven't been for over 10 years but got back into it pretty quick and had a ball.
The kids got right into too so we will be going again in a few weeks..

Snowboarder for about 8 yrs, usually go for 10 days on mountain a yr, goin down to perisher in 2 weeks. Plan to do a 100 day season sometime in the not too distant future
Hmmm can't get enough of it........when living in canberra, season pass for perisher was my salvation
Have had a couple of ski trips to Colorado and have managed to ski Winter Park (aweeeesooooooome!), vail and aspen also..... would love to get to Japan for a trip........ but the two youngsters sort of increase the cost significantly!
i loooove the snow and love skiing - even if it is one of those things im not actually supposed to be doing....
used to have an expenses paid weekend at thredbo (courtesy of carter holt) until a few years ago - used to ski with a bona fide millionaire (who went to all the restaurants there with a fart machine to hand) and his wife. Alas but Honda Riders seem unable to ski......the night of the 3 bottles of schnapps is still talked about in revered tones
For those going, it is well worth the $$$ to have a private lesson. After several years of bitching & moaning the Honda Rider shared mine and was immediately a convert.
I grew up in Benalla so spent at least a day of most weekends skiing. It dropped off a little after I moved to melbourne and now I'm in Warrnambool so I'm lucky to get two weekends per season. The surfing here is heaps better than Benalla though.
