Silhouette Backdrop "Why???"

Post by photomike666 »

Got the bike out the garage at 5am this morning, went to shut the garage door & THUD - One 10 laying on its left side in the rose bushes . Only damage a snapped mirror and a farking great hole in the nose cone where it landed on a stone.

Financial not what I needed right now. $600 from Kwak, $300us posted.

That's farked....... My Gumby was the same, suspect even on near level ground they are.
I took the stand off and ground the two edges where it sits, gained a little, then I put the stand in a vice and gained a little more

Faark, I know the feeling, I dropped mine off the stand 1st day I got it. Hurts like hell and nearly some tears.

Yeah it sucks alright. No tears, but at 5am I think my whole neighborhood heard me drop the "C" bomb at the top of my voice.

I've found 2 replacement options, both new, both under $300 and both from the US. One is stock blue, the other is Carbon fiber (and cheaper!), but I think I'll go the stock blue

Park it in gear Mike then you can at least be assured it's not rolling off the stand.. all easy in hindsight of course, bummer about the damage :(

I normally do park it in gear, must have been tired. I don't like 6am starts on a Monday
