eBay search ktm 450.
There's an 07 build 08model 4650 at albury. He will meet you 150km out of albury. So maybe around laidbacks joint at tarcutta.

I'd (if I had the $) be looking at something with efi, like the 2010 yz or 09 kx.

You can get away with just putting on a larger disc and a spacer for the standard caliper.

The Ktm stock caliper mounted to the larger disc will get you out on the track and be ok.
It's not as good as a proper brembo.
But will be way better than the jappa caliper.

?? any good?
Personally I think you need an 08+ Ktm. Newer ones are faster. Up to 07 are easier to maintain, but not quite as fast

Glen owned one, and has quite a high opinion of the 4 speed.
i'd listen to an ex oner before a back bencher

Or the manufactuers, who don't make a 4 speed anymore. (never did in the motards). ;)
KTM exc's all 6 speed - sx's 5 speed..

Husky SMR factory motard 449 and 511 and all there 450's - 6 speed... pfft, the fools.!

Husaberg 570 factory motard and all there 450's - 6 speed- what a waste.!

Aprilia 450 /550 - 5 speed even in that torquee V twin --- crazy ppl... !

I have a high opinion of the zx9r, so does Glen.... but....
and what does he ride now.??. :-)

motard = more gears, especailly if you racing at EC, not so important for the smaller go kart tracks.. :-)... :kuda:

I'm sure any will be fine for you Pinchy, just puttin the info out there.
Check what the front benchers are racing in the tards at EC next week as thats who your up against, not the back bencers on here..:-)
