new indicators didn't last long enough to make it home.

Post by Strika »

I had A Roadworthy done on the ZRX yesterday. I won't go into why, that's irrelevant. But as part of the RWC, I had him fit four new indicators. I had broken them months ago and never bothered to fix them. Anyway, the front left globe blew 1klm from the workshop........ :) quality mate that is.... quality!
The upshot is it is only a bulb, I just pulled the old one out. :)

Ha! I set fire to the Sprint today (by mistake); I would love to have new indicators. Incidentally, don't try to warm epoxy resin with a match. Just a heads up, dudes... :kuda:

Nope - put it out nice and quickly  . Just attempting to refix a broken fairing tab; normally the plasti-weld works fine, but yesterday it just wouldn't set. Assume just too cold. I'll see if I can survive without a radiator shroud on that side until the weather warms up.

Stevos are 5 mins from my place. Just none of them are open Sundays or public holidays. I chucked a 12V4A in which works, but flashes fast due to resistance difference. But, it works so will be OK till I get some.
