Bigger tank?? not that I know of. All the same or so I assumed.

Bugger all difference with PC3, depends on your tune.

At the end of the day you dont buy a sportsbike let alone a 12R for fuel efficiency. ;)

I'm with Jonno. Didn't buy a 12 for economy. I always use more fuel than anyone else I ride with.

PC3 and pipe wouldn't make as much difference as altering your riding style, but what's the fun in that!!!
I can get around 300km on a Highway trip if I nurse it, or I can get just over 200km if I'm on it.

.. and yes i agree .. not expecting economy.. but think about it this way....

well....... she's probably just a li'l bit 'too much' for me at present, so instead of not utilising to it's true potential... if there is the possibility of saving fuel through a custom map... why wouldn't i at least ask for thoughts?

I have never gotten even remotely close to 300km on the highway, even if I ride it like a 2fiddy ! I don't know how you guys manage to squeeze so many k's out of one of these bikes........if I am *on it*, then 180km and the last fuel light has been flashing for 5 minutes !

I am just commuting at the moment, and lucky to get 220km out of a tank. That is riding around like a nanna, only a 6km run to work ea ch day I think it uses more fuel during the warm-up than it does while I am riding it !

dunno what you blokes do with the round bit of black tube on the right hand bar....
coz I am still getting 290-300 highway use before that last bar blinks

is the A model more fuel efficient than later ones? ( not that it really matters coz you DO NOT buy a Zx12R for its fuel economy  )

Could be worse mates RSV4 Factory the fuel light comes on at 140km and he has run out of fuel at 170km before, his average 180km per tank.

Yeah sportsbikes are not for fuel economy Lol

Regularly rode from Gungahlin to Eden. 275km on one tank. Put 17 litres in so 2 litres to spare.
It's in the way that you use it!!!!! I must be a softy on the throttle!!
