Gumby owners

Post by stetto »

So i am looking for a crim roadie, but not ruling out gumbys. Just curious if the pipes roast your thighs, and if aftermarket pipes help? Obviously carbon fibre cans will do more then aluminium/titanium to reduce the heat build up. Curious as it will b used for a fair bit of slow city riding and commuting. Cheers

yeah you do feel it a bit but just the same as feeling the heat from the engine on the lower part of your legs

Yeh it's warm in summer but not roasting. I reckon more heat comes from the engine to be honest, they get to 99 pretty quick if you're rolling along slowly!
