Guys, i may need the assistance of someone in or around Hampton Park in VIC.
I am watching an item on ebay which is at the moment very cheap, item is pickup only and was wondering if someone could pick it up for me (no its not a bike) while i organised a courier or maybe even make the trip down there myself.

Auction ends in 3 hours so if anyone can assist please let me know, there could also be a bottle of sotch/bourbon in it for you

How big is the item? Can it be carried on a zx6r with no luggage?

There are people who live around that area so hopefully someone should put their hand up. I don't live near Hampton Park but my rides with Marty are around there. If no one else is around there, I might be able to help.

i know you are excited about your new ride but i dont think you will be able to carry it on the bike.
19" wide, about the same deep if not a bit more and could weigh about 15-20kg

Yeah...damn Ebay ninjas got to it and won it by $1 more...i knew i should have put a higher max bid...

It was nerdy stuff, but some may appreciate it... HP Storage array with over 4TB of HDD fiber channel. i was going to hook it up to my server and add to my overkill solution for a NAS box.

Not bad, i hope you had somewhere isolated to put it as i imagine it would have been a noisy bastard.
In my setup the loudest thing is unfortunately the UPS with the NAS Solaris box (6x 500gb + boot disk) running a quiet second.

Yeah I got a cabinet under the stairs where its all housed along with a 24 port switch UPS and router. Finished building it a couple of weeks ago after years of putting it off and want to expand it.

I know a nas box ready built would be easier, but where is the fun in that?

Mate have a look at this site. They often get a lot of this stuff.
I have got a bit from them as they have the items in their warehouse in Fyshwick and you can check out before bidding...or get someone to do it for you. They do honestly describe the item when listing.
