ZX6R 2010 6000km service, approx cost

Hello,

Gotta service my 2010 ZX6R in a couple of weeks, 6000km service, what is the approx cost of this service. I need to budget accordingly.

it is not a major service so about $300-$350 depending on shop

If you do it yourself about $100 for oil and filter and your time is free.

It is very easy to do.

I don't think I ever paid more than $150 to have that kind of service done on any of my bikes and that was including the oil... Having that, the last time I had a mechanic change the oil on a bike was like 2007 or something.

I think I paid $280 few weeks ago on same bike at race replica for same service.

from memory the kawasaki authorised place chared me $400, took ages, charged a shit load of labour and sent it back with grubby oil finger prints all over it. Didn't go back. :x

Wow do they really charge that much for a god damn oil change :o

Even more reason why i do everything myself, even when we had a new car i serviced myself and got a mechanic to stamp my book :D

my 1000k service was 210 and the 6000 was 280(the higher one was a factory dealer while smaller was local bike shop).
