Anyone have a classic Z etc I can have a ride of?

Post by tim »

I just wanna experience riding an old kwaka zed 650/900 etc or an old gpz or something similar with the idea of one day MAYBE owning something like that.......

I have thought about going on test rides on genuine sellers bikes but I'd rather not take advantage of them, I wouldn't want someone feeding me a bunch of crap just so they can try out a particular model of bike - that's what dealers are for

I don't know any classic bike owners in sydney at all, around here they seem to live in canberra vic etc.

Just thought I'd chuck it out there.

Tim. :kuda:

I reakon that maybe the only way to go if I get another roadie.

I just dont have enough self control to own a high powered sportbike on the road. The motard hasnt seen me set the finest example of a law obieding citizen either. Maybe a Harley might be the go for me

absolutely correct - getting rounded up by 109's and ZZR2fiddys at every opportunity.....

Tim - as per MickLC, if you ever get down this way, more than welcome to take the Pearl for a spin.

Hearing ya, is why I sold the ZX9 and now ride a KLR 650, or will again as soon as I buy a replacement for the one I wrote off. 12 months and 0 points lost, 500km's to a tank or thereabouts and on the twisty stuff I keep pretty close to the sporties anyways, get blown away every straight over 2 metres long but :P

Mal's been keen to offer my bikes to others of late, so might I suggest flying down to Melbourne & riding his Z900.:)
