Re: power wheelies
Wheelies are cool looking and just another skill that most of us have a crack at one time or another. I'm shit at them other then just cracking the throttle to the stop off a set of lights (On a ZRX the rest just kind of happens)
It's all about time and place though, be careful you dont land on top of a taxi or something and make sure there's no cops or other vehicles around you, the penalties are apparently severe these days, and you don't have a real lot of control over where the bikes going with the wheel pointing to the sky.
As Tim said Aardy has an article on here somewhere which should point you in the right direction.
Good luck with it

Re: power wheelies
Buy a cheap chuck chaser and practice on that. Like everything else, you get it wrong when learning. Better to flip/drop a cheap POS on grass than your pride and joy on a closed private strip of tar.

Your no fun Blurr.Blurr wrote:Stick with 2nd gear mate. First is 2 touchy and 2nd will allow you control the wheelie alot better once it is up.
Once it is up lean forward over the tank and try easy off the throttle a bit (dont shut it off). Easying off the throttle will allow you to level out the raise of the front wheel. once level just mediate the throttle in sync with the wheelie.
Try getting your hands on a dirt bike first. it'll teach you the basics within a day

Actually it's anywhere where those 'old man' bikes ride. For some reason ZRX's don't like being on two wheels.
