Saw kangaroos on the road again near Kinglake yesterday morning. It was about 9-30am so I'd usually expect the cars to have moved them off the roads. Just around a blind corner. Big e-stop and the dopey pair hopped off into the bush. Saw that some poor bugger hit one and was killed yesterday.

Haven't seen any for nearly a year and I often ride early mornings, so I'm wondering if the cold snap is moving them down a bit lower?
Been seeing a lot of dead wombats beside the road and a week or so back near Yellingbo a car with its front end pushed in where it had obviously hit a roo.
So be careful.

Re: Kangaroos (Vic)
if the country side is drying out a bit they will come to the roadside because the feeds usually a bit greener than the country side
