If this was the case none of us would be doing our own servicing out of fear of not being paid out in an insurance claim.
At the 1000km service there's no reason to do coolant or plugs - the bike's only just been born. Oil, filter and check tighten bolts.
In your case I'd be getting a mechanic to do the first service, do the 2nd one yourself (with the help of an experienced friend/club member etc if you're not confident) and do it in half the recommended period. The money you'll save on mechanics will pay for your oil and filter twice over.
